What Europe 1992 Means for U.S. Business
THE EVENTS OF recent months in the European Community (EC) prove that Europe 1992 is not simply the dream of visionaries to create a single market without barriers to the free movement of goods, services, persons and capital, but rather a process that is unfolding day-to-day. The spirit and pace were captured by Jacques Delors, President of the European Commission (the EC's executive body), when he said during his recent visit to Washington, "For the European Community, 1992 is the symbol of our renewed dynamism. We are again on the move."
