WESTINGHOUSE ACQUIRES ASSETS OF LN TECHNOLOGIES CORP.

PITTSBURGH, Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Westinghouse Electric Corp. (NYSE: WX) today announced it has acquired the assets of LN Technologies Corp., a company which provides chemical decontamination and low-level radioactive waste processing services for the nuclear power industry.

Terms were not disclosed.

LN Technologies, headquartered in Columbia, S.C., was founded in 1986 and has annual sales in excess of $6 million. The company has licenses for the two primary chemical decontamination processes used in the nuclear power industry, CANDECON/CANDEREM(TM) and LOMI(TM).
