The Port of Pittsburgh, which bills itself as the "nation's largest inland port," is located at the intersection of three major rivers--the Ohio, Monongahela and Allegheny.
The Port of Pittburgh Commission is a marketing group whose mission is to promote the commercial use and development of the inland waterways and to integrate the system into the economic, recreational and intermodal future of southeastern Pennsylvania.
