Pipeline construction starting in 2003
According to the agreement recently signed between the Chinese and Russian governments on the crude oil pipeline construction, the first domestic station of China-Russia crude oil pipeline project will be located in Inner Mongolia Manzhouli that has unique geographical advantages. Technical persons from CNPC have arrived at Manzhouli to start the field survey of pipeline routes.
China-Russia crude oil pipeline project starts from Irkutsk of Russia, passes the first domestic station at Manzhouli and ends at Heilongjiang Daqing. The total length is 2 488km and the length of the section in China is more than 800km. The ...
