What is claimed to be the world's first digitally generated TV channel, 24 hour/day horse racing simulation and management game called I-Race, is set to launch Q2 2002 on UK digital cable platform operated by Telewest. Developed by VIS iTV, concept is a 50:50 joint venture between Telewest and VIS entertainment, a leading games developer.
I-Race broadcast channel entirely comprises computer-generated 3D graphical visual content of racehorses and jockeys competing every 10 minutes on virtual racecourses.
