During the 1990s the Centennial League proved to be almost unbeatable when it came to winning Class 5A football state championships.
After a two-year hiatus, guess who is back to try and reclaim its crown?
As the playoffs begin Friday the Centennial League will be represented by five of its seven teams.
And, one might count six teams since No. 9 Grandview (9-1), winner of the Grand Peaks League, will move to the Centennial next season.
