Nov. 9--The Paducah Electric Plant Board will consider four bids Monday for a $3.3 million bond issue to expand the Paducah Power System fiber-optic network to substations.
The low bid, 4.29 percent interest over 16 years, was submitted Thursday by Morgan Keegan of Memphis, said George Sullivan, the utility's bond adviser. Sullivan's own firm, Hilliard Lyons, submitted the next lowest bid at 4.39 percent.
