The PHCP industry mourns with many others the death and destruction wreaked upon New York City, Washington, D.C., and thousands of U.S. citizens on Sept. 11. Four commercial airplanes were hijacked and then deliberately crashed, two into the twin towers of New York's World Trade Center, one into the Pentagon, and the fourth into a Pennsylvania field. The death toll in one day more than doubled surpassed that of the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
Among the casualties was Norma Khan, 45, manager of member services for the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors-National Association. She was a confirmed passenger on the hijacked American Airlines Flight 77, traveling to ...
