PROVIDENCE, R.I., Dec. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- At an open meeting yesterday, the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission approved settlements of two Narragansett Electric rate matters. The first settlement places Rhode Island in the forefront of energy conservation by providing Narragansett Electric with financial incentives in 1990 to further its leading conservation and load management (C&LM) program and by providing a new mechanism to recover costs associated with this program.
