Nov. 12--Duncan MacDonald never worried about anyone stealing his identity until he got a call in May from a man in Indianapolis.
MacDonald, of Redmond, Wash., said the caller had become suspicious of someone who was trying to make deals and get special treatment under the name of Duncan MacDonald. The caller asked MacDonald if he'd been to Indianapolis.
"I said, 'No, I'm in Redmond,' " MacDonald said. 'He said, 'OK, we have a problem.' "
The caller's suspicions led Indiana authorities to arrest Jeremy Clark-Erskine, 28, of Danville. He pleaded guilty to three ...
