Nov. 13--SBC Communications Inc. has begun providing details to its San Antonio work force about how its plans to eliminate 6,500 jobs companywide will affect their livelihoods.
Officials with the nation's No. 2 local-service phone company last week told employees in at least two San Antonio offices employing a total of 115 people that they would need to relocate to keep their jobs, according to an employee in one of the offices.
