REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 13, 2001

Nintendo of America Inc. today announced a federal judge in the U.S. District Court in Seattle, Washington, has awarded the company a complete victory in its suit to recover 49 infringing internet domain names (including POKEMON-TRADER.COM and GROWLITHE.COM).

The Court ordered all domain names be returned to Nintendo and awarded Nintendo statutory damages ranging from $2000 to $30,000 per name for 48 names -- for a total award of $560,000.
