An extraordinary luxury residential and commercial development is slated for a riverfront site in Manhattan's Gansevoort Market district, it was announced by the project's developer, Stephen Touhey, a managing partner at Landmark Development LLC.
The development, at 848 Washington St., will be the first New York residential project by award-winning Parisian architect Jean Nouvel. His revolutionary design for 848 Washington St. includes a stunning 32-story trapezoidal luxury condominium tower and two Wedge-shaped smaller structures bisected by the abandoned High Line railroad structure, which will be rehabilitated and landscaped.
