N.C. HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT COMMISSION RELEASES MAP
SHOWING FIRST SITE SELECTION CRITERIA
RALEIGH, N.C., Jan. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The N.C.Hazardous Waste Management Commission today released a statewide map showing the application of its first set of site selection criteria.
The Commission's first set of site selection criteria excludes from consideration for the location of a hazardous waste facility areas located:
(1) on inland lakes;
(2) on upland bogs or pocosins or on marshes or swamps;
(3) within a coastal hurricane storm surge or inundation area;
