TOKYO, Nov 14 Asia Pulse - Millea insurance group firms Tokio Marine & Fire Insurance Co. (TSE:8751) and Asahi Mutual Life Insurance Co. said they are considering moving forward the integration of their life insurance operations.
The two companies are now mulling transferring the marketing division of Asahi Life to Tokio Marine Life Insurance Co., a life insurance subsidiary of Tokio Marine, in March 2002, and merging Asahi Life and the Tokio Marine subsidiary a year later.
Asahi Life will receive from Tokio Marine proceeds for the sale of its marketing division to the Tokio Marine unit as well as contribution to its capital. The moves are aimed at ...
