Before we fret about the consequences, note what has been accomplished: The United States, through a military strategy that has included heavy, but remarkably precise, bombing, has helped to drive from Afghanistan's capital, Kabul, the Taliban _ protectors of Osama bin Laden and his al-Qaida terrorist network.
