To reach us, narrator Cliff Barrows would say, just write to Billy Graham, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
What listeners knew, passers-by couldn't tell: Minneapolis was Graham's headquarters for 50 years, but most of the evangelist's ministry organizations were based in a nondescript, three-acre complex in the Minneapolis area.
Because there's no room to grow there, Franklin Graham announced Thursday that the headquarters of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association will move to Charlotte, N.C., the city of his father's birth.
