2001 NOV 25 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Global Biotechnologies has new data to show that the Microsan antimicrobial skin care system kills 99.999% of the Bacillus anthracis organisms on skin surfaces (cutaneous anthrax) within 30 seconds of contact.
Microsan will not, however, kill anthrax spores, which transport the bacteria to the site of infection or be effective in cases of pulmonary anthrax. The Microsan system has been proven to kill 99.999% of over 160 different bacteria, viruses, yeast, and mold within 30 seconds and provides residual protection from recolonization of susceptible organisms for four to six hours.
