TEMPLE HOLDINGS SAYS SEA CONTAINERS SPECIAL MEETING IS COERCIVE TACTIC
NEW YORK, Jan. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Temple Holdings stated that Sea Containers (NYSE: SCR) is currently in default under Bermuda law, its Bylaws and New York Stock Exchange rules in not holding its annual meeting. By scheduling the proposed Feb. 24 special meeting to consider only Sea Containers' purported recapitalization, Sea Containers' directors have continued to disregard their legal and fiduciary obligations and continue to prevent Sea Containers' shareholders from properly electing directors.
