The New York Giants' running game is working itself into shape. That can't be great news for a Vikings defense that has been hurt by the run in recent weeks.
In a 17-10 victory Sunday over Arizona, the Giants gained a season-high 186 yards on 41 carries, with Tiki Barber getting 118 on 17 carries.
The Giants' "Thunder and Lightning" attack of Ron Dayne and Barber features Dayne's power and Barber's quickness. But, until recently, Barber has been hampered by injuries.
Barber missed the preseason with a broken left hand, and missed two regular season games ...
