As might be expected for a volleyball team with only one loss, Colorado State University features excellent players at setter (Allie Peckham), outside hitter (Courtney Cox) and middle blocker (Angela Knopf).
What makes the 23-1 Rams special, though, is their right-side hitter, Soraya Santos.
A 6-foot-1 senior from Vitoria, Brazil, Santos does everything for the No. 8 team in the nation.
In hitting, Santos averages 3.61 kills a game, third-best on the team. She hits .370, second-best on the team among regulars. She plays defense well (2.29 digs a game, to rank third) and blocks (0.94, again third). ...
