Article: LINOLEUM DOUBLES AS WORK OF ART.(AT HOME)

Byline: Helaine Fendelman and Joe Rosson Scripps Howard News Service

A Massachusetts man grew up with this linoleum that was in his parents' house when they purchased it in 1943. In 1992, when his father died, he rolled up the 9-by-12-foot piece and found a 1942 newspaper underneath. Now he's curious about the value of this Mickey Mouse treasure.

We never thought we would see a piece of linoleum that knocked us out - but this one does. Basically, it shows Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, the Three Little Pigs, Goofy and Pluto playing in a pile of autumn leaves with various forest animals, such as squirrels, skunks and rabbits, cavorting with them.
