LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Western Kentucky University basketball team showed on Thursday night that it's more than a one-man show, while the University of Kentucky basketball team showed it's not ready to handle the high expectations placed on it this season.
Western Kentucky All-American center Chris Marcus wasn't quite the factor he was expected to be, scoring just 13 points, but then again it didn't matter because his teammates more than picked up the slack in upsetting No. 3-ranked UK, 64-52, in the NABC Classic in Rupp Arena before a crowd of 21,104.
