The SCJAS is a state-wide organization whose goal is to stimulate, promote, and support interest in science and mathematics among middle and senior high school students. From its establishment in 1969, the SCJAS has grown in size and scope of its membership and currently has membership of approximately 1,600 students representing 66 schools. Financial support is provided by student membership dues ($4.00), club dues ($10.00), the state legislature, industries, and private donations. A Trust Fund has also been established with donations from industries and individuals. Colleges and universities provide administrative support for the day-to-day operation of the organization, ...
