SAMUEL L. Jackson's prize memories of Liverpool include playing golf, watching football, learning to drive on the other side of the street - and lots and lots of rain.
"You guys had the worst month's rainfall you'd had in 300 years, " laughs the actor who fulfilled Merseyside's mission to be the UK's film capital by turning up here to star in the drugs heist feature The 51st State.
"It's amazing how it never rains in the movie, " adds Sam. "I just don't know how we managed that."
