ACCORDING to the results of a worldwide internet survey, conducted by the Sleep Council, employees are not bestsuited to the current standard working day.
Individual work-efficiency varies from person to person.
Thirty-eight per cent of respondents said they were most productive in the evenings and 41 per cent in the mornings. By expressing a preference for mornings or evenings the Sleep Council have concluded that the majority of workers are not that alert in the middle of the day.
The council is calling for an end to the "nine-to-five" and recommends that firms should introduce a more sleep-friendly working day. ...
