Snow's no problem for this red squirrel--or for any of its tree squirrel cousins. You can see them scurrying around even in the coldest weather. They're always fun to watch, so get ready for some tree squirrels in action.
Get a Grip!
Hanging upside down is easy for this fox squirrel. Check out the sharp, curved claws on its paws. They're great for grabbing bark. And why is it flicking its tail? It's excited. It could be saying, "Hi, there," to a squirrel it might like as a mate.
