FRED MEYER LAUNCHES ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY PROGRAM
PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Fred Meyer Inc. has ushered in 1990 -- the "Year of the Earth" -- by making a company-wide commitment to environmental responsibility that includes providing its customers with a broader selection of products and packaging that can help make a difference in improving the environment, the company announced today.
