Naperville residents always seem to put a new spin on things.
While other cities across the nation are adopting a specific book and encouraging their populace to read it, Naperville is adopting an author.
In January, the city will issue a proclamation stating that Gary Paulsen, a New Mexico author of more than 250 books for children and adults, is Naperville's main reading squeeze.
The city will encourage residents to pick up Paulsen's books and participate in "Naperville Reads," a project created by Naperville Public Libraries, Anderson's Bookshop, Naperville Unit School District 203 and ...
