Nov. 20--Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra spent much of yesterday assuring Japanese investors of Thailand's open door to foreign investment, and emphasising long-term benefits of his grass roots-oriented economic policy.
Thailand still opened its door to foreign investors although the government's principal objective was to revitalise rural areas through local economic stimulus schemes, the premier told top executives in Tokyo.
