HOLLANDALE -- We're talking science out here in the cow pasture: evolution and restoration ecology and control plots. But it's hard to concentrate when a cow named Pumpkin is using me as a human salt lick.
This hunk of burning heifer looks like a creature put together by Dr. Seuss: really long red hair, really short legs, and really long eyelashes covering large eyes filled with love.
