Occasionally, one has the good fortune to come across a book that is both a real pleasure to read and also extremely instructive. Such a book is Gongoremas, by Antonio Carreira, undoubtedly the most important Gongora scholar of the last twenty years. Gongoremas consists of nineteen studies, all written during the 1990s, which the author has put together in five different sections: Crytica y transmision textual; Etopeya y entorno; Las Soledades; Los Romances; Fama postuma.
