The Japan Biological Disaster Prevention Association in cooperation with K.B. L Co. Ltd. has developed an air filtration paper called Return Air Filter for air conditioning systems that uses an optical catalyst coating material. The Association is an established national body, concerned with the development of protective measures against a wide variety of forms of potential biological disasters, accidental or intentional, which are increasingly being taken seriously in Japan.
All types of air conditioning systems are fitted with filters on the air suction side to collect and remove foreign substances.
