Toko Inc. has developed an extra-thin piezoelectric inverter unit for use in compact liquid crystal monitors such as digital cameras, video cameras and portable data processing terminals. Conventional forms of piezoelectric inverters do not correspond with the growing demand for size reduction and thinness in portable equipment.
The new series of piezoelectric inverter units conform to 1, 8-5.0 type liquid crystal background light by merit of a newly developed thin high step-up ratio piezoelectric transformer, along with a thin step-up coil and a thin special purpose control IC
