Denso Corporation, a manufacturer of automobile parts, has developed a three-dimensional microscopic system which secures an omnifocal image by focussing simultaneously on all points of a targeted object.
According to the firm, the dynamic focussing lens has been structured in a manner similar to that of the human eye. It changes shape to adjust to the refractive index and varies focal length.
