Ultrasonic Two-Dimensional Bone Imaging System

Sensa Corporation and Gifu University have jointly developed an ultrasonic two-dimensional bone imaging system, trade-named MARK 250D, that enables even the inside of bones to be clearly viewed, using ultrasonic imaging.

The data acquired through reflected ultrasonic waves is amplified to discriminate the bones and the marrow inside the body. This enables bone fractures to be diagnosed in great detail, allowing the best treatment to be devised.
