45% Fuel reduction - gas driven engine hybrid air conditioning system.(Brief Article)

Tokyo Gas Company, together with Mayekawa Manufacturing Company, and Waseda University, has developed a gas driven hybrid air conditioning system that utilises a natural refrigerant (ammonia and water), and features prevention of both ozone layer damage and global warming, and whose gas consumption is reduced by 45% compared with conventional counterparts.
