Fluon gas decomposition system.(from Asada Corp., University of Tsukuba)(Brief Article)

Asada Corporation and the University of Tsukuba have jointly developed a fluon gas decomposition system (FA-1500) based on the plasma technologies developed by the company, the University of Tsukuba, and the National Industrial Research Institute of Nagoya.

Tests conducted under variable conditions confirmed that the newly established system can decompose fluon by 99.999%, with a hot plasma of over 10,000 degrees C. This system is applicable to other types of gases such as polychloride biphenyl (PCB) and to render them harmless, so the research team plans to study the system application ...
