Nov. 21--From humble beginnings, Satin Textiles Co is riding high on the back of awards at a prestigious trade fair in Belgium.
The family business has come a long way from its origins as a small mill that relied on used machinery. Annual turnover has soared to 800 million baht from 3.6 million baht, making the company the country's front-runner in production of high-quality upholstery and decorative fabrics.
The company plans to seek listing on the stock market within two years and increase its annual turnover to two billion baht within four to five years.
