END-USERS: THE POT OF GOLD AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW
Are there really end-users? Do they really exist? In numbers large enough to make a difference in the online industry? For industry insiders this is shaping up to be the question of the 90's, but if you turn over the right rock the answer is quickly evident. The real question insiders are asking is, "Are there end-users for my database or databank or gateway?" Searchers on the firing line have to be concerned also, probably not for their job security, but that they will be forgotten or abandoned by databanks in their scramble to attract a wider market.
