International Data Group (Boston, MA) has purchased the 50% interest in Mac Publishing (San Francisco, CA) owned by partner Ziff Davis Media (New York). No terms of the deal were given. Mac Publishing produces Macworld magazine.
Mac Publishing, originally called Mac Partners, was established in mid-1997 as a joint venture between IDG and Ziff Davis. Ziff Davis' MacUser magazine, launched in 1985, was merged into IDG's Macworld, a monthly launched by IDG in 1984. As part of the merger, Mac Publishing also produced ...
