WHILE I don't mind spending the best part of an hour watching a television biography of someone like Lucille Ball - the subject of last night's Queen Of Comedy - I expect a bit more gossip and scandal out of the Hollywood dream factory than was on offer.
Newsnight's Kirsty Wark, who read and presumably wrote at least some of the script for the British version of this American-made programme, seemed more interested in presenting Ball as a feminist icon than in the personal details of a star who made 65 indifferent films before finding lasting fame on television.
