(Jean-Michel Boursiquot is France's foremost authority on French grapevine varieties, and primary varieties ID to INRA. He is currently on sabbatical from the Ecole Nationale Superieure Agronomique de Montpellier and is working in the lab of grapevine geneticist Carole Meredith at UC Davis. In June, Meredith and Boursiquot announced the unraveling of a mystery that has long plagued lovers and makers of Rhone wines.
