FORT BRAGG, N.C. _ The door to the hotel shatters in a smoky blast. Two green canisters bounce off the floor and erupt into dual concussions that shake the room. The Green Beret team rushes into the echo.
"Let me see your hands, let me see your hands," one soldier shouts, just before rifle shots punctuate his orders. Like ghosts through smoke, the team drops green lights outside the rooms they've cleared of enemy troops. It's over in minutes, and the hotel is theirs.
