Eve Vang, 16, was born and raised in the United States. She grew up more American than Hmong, she said, but now it's time to get back in touch with her culture.
"This is the first year that I appreciated the Hmong culture," said Eve, a junior at St. Paul's Arlington High School. "I'm a part of the newer generation, and I lost a lot of my traditions. I regret it."
