The Blues is (or should that be 'are'?) enjoying something of a renaissance at the moment, and Rolling Stones (even if they are former ones) are busy showing us that there is life after rock 'n' roll, so it should come as no surprise that the two combine in Bill Wyman's elegant coffee table guide to the blues.
As Wyman says in the introduction, 'the blues isn't just a style of music: it's an attitude of mind'. And it's not restricted to black singers in the American south in the first half of the last century.
