Broadening its line of mobile electronics products, Kenwood USA Corporation announces first vehicle navigation system incorporating both DVD and satellite GPS technologies. The new KNA-DV2100 navigation system guides drivers to their destinations using both voice and visual prompts, and allows them to select a combination of maps, bold directional arrows indicating "next turn" instructions, or written turn-by-turn directions for display over a video monitor. To simplify installation, the new system is designed as a "plug-'n-play" accessory for Kenwood Excelon receivers and LCD video displays, and provides data ports for future software updates.
