SoundBite Communications, which expects to grow 50 percent to 100 percent during the next year, uses technology that combines the multiple address features of e-mail with the interactive convenience of voice mail. "It's like e-mail except we use the phone as the delivery device instead of the Internet," said President and CEO John McDonough. "We use your voice instead of using text, and then we take advantage of interactive options like direct connections to live people."
