Minister of State for the Arts, Tessa Blackstone, has placed a temporary bar on the export of a group of important photographs and glass negatives. The portraits, by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, widely known as the author Lewis Carroll, are of Alice Liddell and her siblings. This will provide a last chance to raise the money to keep the items in the United Kingdom.
