Barrington Unit District 220 officials hope the nearly completed renovation of Carpentersville's Woodland School has broken the mold.
As the asbestos removal, floor tile renovation and roof replacement process enters its final weeks, district officials hope for a final report Dec. 10 from their air-quality consultants at the district's board meeting.
But it will be the decision of the Lake County Regional Superintendent of Schools Ed Gonwa whether an occupancy permit will be issued at that time.
